IMPACT

Impact offers a series of six one-on-one mentoring sessions (including assessment) where clients may learn to:

  • confront their motivation for engaging in illegal behavior (e.g. shoplifting, trespassing, damaging property)
  • name and evaluate the impact of their crime
  • take responsibility for their actions
  • show meaningful accountability to victims
  • choose strategies that limit temptation
  • show meaningful accountability to victims

IMPACT for me?

Anyone may schedule a free assessment. Self-referrals are welcome. We also work with individuals who are being referred by local businesses, corrections, court services, other officials and community agencies.

Total program cost is $100. Reduced rates are available to those who qualify based on income.

OVM is an interdenominational, church-based agency that emphasizes justice, accountability, caring and reconciliation. Our offices are located in Newton, Kansas and we serve the greater community, including inmates at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility (HCF).

We have developed and administer programs that work toward bringing restoration, rehabilitation, and reconciliation between offenders and victims.
